Straight Stairlift

Straight stairlifts are the most common type of stairlift and are designed to travel up and down a straight staircase with ease. Whereas curved stairlifts may require structural changes, a straight stairlift requires none and can be installed in a relatively quick time.

Curved Stairlift

Stairlifts are not a one-size fits all system. Depending on the layout of your premise, your stairlift may need to go around a curve at the end of a bannister or climb up a spiral staircase.

What Are The Benefits Of Installing A Stairlift?

There are a host of reasons why you should install a stairlift in hospitals, care homes, or any other public facility:

1. Independence for Physical Disabilities

Mobility issues are not age-exclusive and can affect anyone, whether it’s a resident or visitor at a care home, a family member visiting a patient in the hospital, or someone attending a second-floor public forum. Installing a stairlift helps bring a sense of independence and pride back to those needing extra mobility support.

2. Easy-To-Use

Our ergonomically-designed stairlifts are as easy to use as possible, with side hand control buttons that operate the stairlift to go up and down seamlessly. Safety comes first on our stairlifts, proper seatbelts and side armrests to the chair to make whoever is on-board feel as safe and comfortable as possible.

3. Time Efficient

Time is important, and in a care home or hospital, it’s more important. Having a stairlift doesn’t only save time for those using it, but also for carers or other support workers that may normally be required to assist in moving from the ground floor to above.

4. Perfect For A Variety Of Buildings

Our stairlifts are designed with frequent use in mind, making them ideal for commercial and public buildings including care homes, hospitals, town halls, and more. Regardless of your stairway setup, we have covered stairlifts suitable for both straight staircases and spiral staircases, allowing you to provide anyone in your facility with accommodating modes of transportation.

Our stairlifts are high quality, durable and made to hold a weight of up to 300 pounds. If you require a stairlift to hold more than this, please get in touch to discuss this with a member of the team.
